About

Thanks for visiting our blog! We are a Christian family living in south Georgia. We have two beautiful daughters, Mary Beth & Rosalie. Rosalie also happens to have Trisomy 21, Down syndrome. The goal of this blog is to show the world that having a child with Down syndrome is pretty normal. It is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Nine out of ten babies whose mothers receive a prenatal diagnosis of Trisomy 21 are aborted. That is so unfortunate. If I can change the mind of even one mother, this blog’s purpose will be served. Thanks so much for reading! Feel free to reach out to us if you are going through a similar situation & need someone to talk to.

Hi my name is thea, I have a little boy named harry is 17 months old I came accross your blog whilst looking for awnsers about my own son and I believe harry is very similar to rosalie. We are in england and there is very little information out there about neutropenia. My son was diagnosed with neutropenia at 4 months old. His counts cycle between 200 and 1000 he also is a 33 weeker then in the summer they found his immunoglobulin was getting lower now he is also tryna rule out more serious immune deficiencys so it is looking like hypergammaglobulinemia. We have been discussing ivig treatment but we’re not there yet gcsf has never been discussed. We are like prisoners in our home armed with a thermometer and some cleaning products as im sure you’ll understand. Id love to hear how rosalies getting on and speak to someone in a similar situation as yours is the closest i’ve ever came accross to our own. My email is thealorrio.lorrio@gmail.com. I really hope you this and things are getting better for you and your amazing little girl. Xx
